Description

A simple and delicious recipe for roasted Brussels sprouts with crispy bacon, perfect as a quick side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Scatter the chopped bacon over the Brussels sprouts.
  5. Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and slightly crispy, and the bacon is cooked through.
  6. Stir halfway through cooking to ensure even roasting.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra crispy bacon, cook it separately before adding to the sprouts.
  • Add a drizzle of balsamic glaze at the end for a touch of sweetness.
