Description

Make delicious and crispy chicken and mozzarella wraps in your air fryer. This recipe is quick, easy, and perfect for a weeknight meal or lunch.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced or cubed
  • 4 large tortillas or wraps
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Marinara sauce for dipping


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Place the seasoned chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until cooked through and lightly browned.
  4. Add the mozzarella to the air fryer basket with the chicken during the last 2 minutes of cooking, just until it starts to melt.
  5. Warm the tortillas slightly according to package directions.
  6. Spoon the chicken and mozzarella mixture onto the center of each tortilla.
  7. Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards, then roll it up tightly to form a wrap.
  8. If desired, place the wraps back into the air fryer for 1-2 minutes to crisp them up.
  9. Serve immediately, with marinara sauce for dipping if preferred.

Notes

  • You can use pre-cooked shredded chicken to save time.
  • Adjust seasonings to your preference.
  • For extra crispiness, you can lightly spray the outside of the wraps with cooking spray before the final air frying step.
