Description

Easy Crockpot Creamy Chicken & Potatoes. A simple, delicious, and convenient meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Place potatoes, onion, and garlic in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Top with chicken breasts.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the soup, chicken broth, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture over the chicken and vegetables.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and potatoes are tender.
  6. Shred the chicken with two forks.
  7. Stir everything together.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
  9. Serve and enjoy your meal.

Notes

  • You can add other vegetables, such as carrots or celery.
  • For a thicker sauce, you can add a tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with a tablespoon of cold water during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
