A delicious and easy creamy chicken soup.
Ingredients

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in a slow cooker.
- Add onion, carrots, celery, garlic, and chicken broth.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove chicken and shred with two forks.
- Return chicken to the slow cooker.
- Stir in heavy cream, milk, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Heat through for 15-20 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust seasonings to your taste.
- You can add other vegetables, such as potatoes or corn.
- For a thicker soup, you can mash some of the vegetables.
