Description
Tender pork chops in a rich, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, made quickly in one skillet.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove chops from skillet and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Return pork chops to the skillet. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until pork chops are cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For thinner pork chops, reduce cooking time to prevent overcooking.
- Adjust garlic and Parmesan to your preference.
- Serve with your favorite side dishes like mashed potatoes or pasta.
