Description

Tender pork chops in a rich, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, made quickly in one skillet.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove chops from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  7. Return pork chops to the skillet. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until pork chops are cooked through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

  • For thinner pork chops, reduce cooking time to prevent overcooking.
