- 4 oz brie cheese, rind removed and sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp orange juice
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Unfold the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface.
- Score a 1/2-inch border around the edges of the pastry.
- In a small bowl, combine cranberries, sugar, and orange juice.
- Spread the cranberry mixture evenly within the scored border.
- Arrange the brie slices over the cranberries.
- Brush the scored border with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed, and the brie is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter tart, add an extra tablespoon of sugar to the cranberry mixture.
- You can substitute orange zest for orange juice for a more intense citrus flavor.
