Description

These Crack Chicken Pinwheels are a savory and satisfying handheld meal. They combine creamy, cheesy chicken with a hint of spice, all rolled up in a convenient pinwheel format. Perfect for lunches, snacks, or easy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning mix. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Stir in the shredded cooked chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped cooked bacon, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  4. Lay out one flour tortilla. Spread about one-quarter of the chicken mixture evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Tightly roll up the tortilla, starting from one edge.
  6. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and chicken mixture.
  7. Brush the tops of the rolled tortillas with melted butter.
  8. Cut each rolled tortilla into 1-inch pinwheels.
  9. Place the pinwheels cut-side down on a baking sheet.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
  11. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the chicken mixture.
  • You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • If you don’t have ranch seasoning mix, you can make your own using dried dill, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  • These pinwheels can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
