Description

A simple and delicious cinnamon roll casserole recipe, perfect for a sweet breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 (12.7 ounce) can refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons melted butter for brushing


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish.
  3. Separate the cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters.
  4. Place the cinnamon roll pieces in the prepared baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.
  6. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces in the baking dish.
  7. If desired, brush the tops with melted butter.
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the casserole is golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  10. Drizzle the included icing over the warm casserole.
