Description
Delicious chocolate pecan pie bars are a perfect dessert. They are easy to make and serve.

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together flour, cocoa, sugar, and salt.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press into a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Whisk together brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt.
- Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
- Pour over the crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can add a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
