Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked egg noodles for serving
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet.
- Add chicken and cook until browned.
- Add onion and mushrooms, cook until softened.
- Stir in garlic.
- Whisk together chicken broth and flour.
- Pour into the skillet.
- Bring to a simmer.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream.
- Serve over egg noodles.
Notes
- Adjust seasonings to your preference.
- For a thicker sauce, add more flour.
- Consider adding a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
