Description

A simple and delicious cheesy quesadilla bake perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (15 ounce) can refried beans
  • 8-10 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, guacamole


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain any grease.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Spread refried beans in the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Layer tortillas over the beans.
  6. Top with half of the ground beef, then half of the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
  7. Repeat layers.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let cool slightly before cutting and serving.
  10. Add your favorite toppings.
