- 1 loaf of Italian bread
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the bread horizontally, then vertically, creating a grid pattern without cutting through the bottom.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture over the bread, getting into the cuts.
- Stuff mozzarella cheese into the cuts.
- Wrap the bread in aluminum foil.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
