Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes (with their juice), salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream until well combined and the cheese is melted.
