Description

A delicious and easy cheesy hot bruschetta dip with fresh tomato and basil.


Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced and toasted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  5. Spread tomato mixture in a baking dish. Top with cheese mixture.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until bubbly.
  7. Serve hot with toasted baguette slices.
