A comforting and flavorful Cheesy Beef & Potato Bake.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 cups potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Layer sliced potatoes in a baking dish.
- Top with beef mixture and diced tomatoes.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove cover, sprinkle with cheese, and bake for another 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and cheese is melted.
Notes
- You can add other vegetables like bell peppers.
- Feel free to use different types of cheese.
