Description

A comforting and flavorful Cheesy Beef & Potato Bake.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cups potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer sliced potatoes in a baking dish.
  5. Top with beef mixture and diced tomatoes.
  6. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove cover, sprinkle with cheese, and bake for another 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and cheese is melted.
