- 1 (20 ounce) can pear halves in syrup, undrained
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup caramel bits
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour the pears with syrup into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the pears.
- Sprinkle caramel bits over the cake mix.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- You can use fresh pears, but you’ll need to adjust the cooking time.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the cake mix.
