Description

A flavorful pasta dish with Cajun-spiced shrimp.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound pasta
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan.
  4. Cook shrimp until pink. Remove and set aside.
  5. Sauté bell peppers and onion until softened.
  6. Add garlic and cook briefly.
  7. Pour in heavy cream.
  8. Stir in Parmesan cheese.
  9. Add cooked pasta and shrimp.
  10. Season to taste.

  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less Cajun seasoning.
