Description
Creamy mac and cheese with a spicy buffalo chicken dip twist.
Ingredients
- Macaroni: 1 pound
- Chicken Breast: 2 (cooked and shredded)
- Buffalo Wing Sauce: 1 cup
- Cream Cheese: 8 ounces
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese: 2 cups
- Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese: 1 cup
- Butter: 1/4 cup
- Flour: 1/4 cup
- Milk: 2 cups
- Ranch or Blue Cheese Dressing: for garnish
- Green Onions: for garnish
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package directions.
- Shred cooked chicken.
- In a saucepan, melt butter. Whisk in flour.
- Gradually whisk in milk until smooth.
- Add cream cheese and cook until melted.
- Stir in cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese until melted.
- Stir in buffalo wing sauce and chicken.
- Add cooked macaroni and mix well.
- Transfer to a baking dish.
- Bake until bubbly.
- Garnish with ranch or blue cheese dressing and green onions.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less buffalo sauce.
- Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Add a breadcrumb topping for extra crunch.
