Description

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat until it turns golden brown and smells nutty. Let cool slightly.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the browned butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, salt, and flour.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the pumpkin puree and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
