- 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup heavy cream, warmed
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil and cook until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain potatoes and return them to the pot. Mash until smooth.
- Add minced garlic, chopped rosemary, softened butter, and warmed heavy cream to the mashed potatoes.
- Stir until well combined and creamy.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For an extra rich flavor, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
- If you prefer a smoother texture, use a potato ricer.
- Garnish with extra fresh rosemary for a beautiful presentation.
