Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes, oil-packed, drained
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced Italian salami
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced provolone cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, Parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, garlic powder, and pepper.
  3. Unroll crescent dough on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Layer salami and provolone cheese on top.
  6. Roll up the dough tightly, starting from one short end.
  7. Wrap the roll in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Slice the roll into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
  9. Place pinwheels on a baking sheet.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. Let cool slightly before serving.
