Description

Creamy and sweet mashed sweet potatoes with a rich honey butter flavor. A perfect side dish for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Place sweet potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot.
  3. Add butter, honey, and heavy cream to the pot.
  4. Mash the sweet potatoes with a potato masher or electric mixer until smooth.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot.
