Description

A quick and easy deconstructed egg roll. All the flavors of a traditional egg roll, without the wrapper.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (14 ounce) bag coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Add sesame oil, onion, and garlic. Cook until softened.
  3. Stir in coleslaw mix, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic powder.
  4. Cook until the coleslaw has softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings like sriracha or sesame seeds.
