Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, sliced
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • Cooked rice, for serving


Instructions

  1. Slice the beef and marinate it with soy sauce and cornstarch.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a wok or large pan.
  3. Stir-fry the beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add garlic and ginger to the wok, cook for a minute.
  5. Add broccoli and stir-fry until slightly tender.
  6. Combine beef broth, oyster sauce, and brown sugar.
  7. Pour the sauce over the broccoli.
  8. Return the beef to the wok.
  9. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  10. Serve over cooked rice.
