- Chicken tenders: 1 pound
- Onion rings: 1 (10-ounce) bag, crushed
- Egg: 1, beaten
- Flour: 1/4 cup
- Salt: to taste
- Pepper: to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare three shallow dishes: one with flour, seasoned with salt and pepper; one with the beaten egg; and one with the crushed onion rings.
- Dredge each chicken tender in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with the crushed onion rings, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the coated tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Lightly spray the tenders with cooking spray.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the onion rings are golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can use panko breadcrumbs mixed with the crushed onion rings.
- Adjust seasoning to your preference.
