Description

Easy baked brie bites wrapped in puff pastry with sweet fig jam.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 wheel brie, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly flour a clean surface. Unfold the puff pastry sheet.
  3. Cut the puff pastry into 12 equal squares.
  4. Place one cube of brie in the center of each puff pastry square.
  5. Top each brie cube with about 1 teaspoon of fig jam.
  6. Fold the puff pastry corners over the brie and jam, pinching to seal.
  7. Place the bites seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the tops with the beaten egg wash.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
