Easy baked brie bites wrapped in puff pastry with sweet fig jam.

- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 wheel brie, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup fig jam
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly flour a clean surface. Unfold the puff pastry sheet.
- Cut the puff pastry into 12 equal squares.
- Place one cube of brie in the center of each puff pastry square.
- Top each brie cube with about 1 teaspoon of fig jam.
- Fold the puff pastry corners over the brie and jam, pinching to seal.
- Place the bites seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- For a different flavor, try other jams like apricot or cranberry.
- Add a sprinkle of chopped nuts like walnuts or pecans for extra crunch.
