Description

A simple and comforting baked apple dessert.


Ingredients

  • Apples: 4, of your choice
  • Butter: 2 tablespoons
  • Brown sugar: 1/4 cup
  • Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
  • Nutmeg: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Water: 1/4 cup


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Core the apples.
  3. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Stuff the apple cores with the sugar mixture.
  5. Place a pat of butter on top of each apple.
  6. Pour water into the baking dish.
  7. Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until the apples are tender.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
