- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Cooked rice for serving
- Green onions, chopped, for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a pan. Drain excess fat.
- Add sesame oil, onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until softened.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and cornstarch.
- Pour sauce into the pan. Simmer until thickened.
- Serve over rice. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

- Adjust the spice level with chili flakes.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli.
- Use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.
