Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Cooked rice for serving
  • Green onions, chopped, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish


Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a pan. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add sesame oil, onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until softened.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and cornstarch.
  4. Pour sauce into the pan. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Serve over rice. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
