Ingredients

  • 6 cups peeled and diced apples
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press half of the crumb mixture into a 9×13 inch baking pan.

  6. Spread apple mixture over the crumb crust.
  7. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over the apples.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
