Description

Fluffy, homemade French-style cinnamon rolls with a delightful strawberry twist.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • For the filling:
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • For the glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped strawberries


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add milk, butter, and egg. Mix well.
  3. Knead dough until smooth. Let it rise.
  4. For filling, mix sugar, cinnamon, and butter.
  5. Roll out dough. Spread filling.
  6. Roll up dough and slice into rolls.
  7. Place rolls in a pan. Let rise.
  8. Bake until golden.
  9. Mix glaze ingredients.
  10. Drizzle glaze over rolls.
  11. Top with strawberries.

Notes

  • You can add a pinch of nutmeg to the filling.
  • Make sure your milk isn’t too hot.
  • Let the rolls cool slightly before glazing.
